The blanking shop keeps a tool-material warehouse and supplies all other sections with blanks. It is equipped with guillotine and press shears for cutting sheet and bar stock, flame-cutting equipment, cut-off machines, circular and hack saws, and machines for spark-erosion and abrasive cutting of hard alloys.
